On Sunday, April 2 at 12 noon, Chamber Players International's Musical Cuisine concert series will present a special brunch and concert celebrating the music of Liszt, Beethoven and Brahms at the De Seversky Conference Center on the campus of New York Institute of Technology on Northern Boulevard in Old Westbury, New York. This program will present Liszt's Mephisto Waltz and two piano trio masterworks - Beethoven's Piano Trio, No. 1, Op, 1 and Brahms' Piano Trio in a minor, performed by world-renowned Chamber Players International artists Anna Rabinova violinist, Natalia Khoma, cellist and Volodymyr Vynnytsky, pianist. This unique program begins with a champagne brunch buffet at 12 noon followed by the concert at 1:30 PM. Admission is $60 per person with group rates available. Musical Cuisine is long established as a popular Long Island classical chamber music series. It has the unusual distinction of presenting world-class artists performing chamber music in an intimate and relaxed environment after a champagne brunch. Anna Rabinova, a member of the New York Philharmonic, was the winner of the Bach International Competition in Leipzig, Germany, and was awarded first prize at the 16th International Competition in Belgrade. As winner of the 1993 Concerto Competition at The Juilliard School, she performed Shostakovich's Concerto No. 1 (Stanislav Skrowaczewski conducting). Natalia Khoma has distinguished herself as a recitalist and soloist with orchestras and throughout the former USSR, as well as the United States, Canada, Germany, Norway, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Hungary, Israel and Yugoslavia. She has won top prizes at the Budapest Pablo Casals Competition (1985), Markneukirchen (Germany, 1987) and the Tchaikovsky (Moscow, 1990) international competitions. Volodymyr Vynnytsky has performed at numerous musical festivals, including Connecticut's Music Mountain, the Mohonk Festival of the Arts, the Windham Chamber Music Festival, Lake San Marcos Chamber Music Society in California, and the Music and Art Center of Greene County, where he has served as artistic advisor and resident pianist since 1996. Chamber Players International is a major regional presenting and performing arts organization, presenting between 25 and 30 concert events serving the entire New York metropolitan area.
