FROM AMERICAN COMPOSERS ALLIANCE EDITIONS

Scores and parts for six new works by Lawrence Dillon are now available from American Composers Editions in New York.

  • What Happened for piano, violin, viola, cello, premiered by the Atlantic Ensemble in Paris in May 2005. Three movements, 17 minutes
  • Sonata: Motion for flute and piano, premiered by Tadeu Coelho and Allison Gagnon in May 2005 (sample recording here). Three movements, 15 minutes
  • Revenant: Concerto for Horn and Orchestra (score, parts, piano reduction) premiered in February 2005 by David Jolley and the Carolina Chamber Symphony, Lawrence Dillon, conductor. Three movements, 19 minutes.
  • Blown Away for wind ensemble, premiered by the NCSA Wind Ensemble in May 2005. One movement, 6 minutes.
  • Big Brothers for saxophone, vibraphone and piano, premiered on the music@watson series in October 2004. One movement, 7 minutes.
  • Embarkation for flute, horn and piano, premiered on the music@watson series at the North Carolina School of the Arts in October 2005. One movement, 8 minutes.
