Polly Ferman is one of the world's leading interpreters of the music of the Americas, and has captivated international audiences with her illuminating performances. Her mastery of this literature prompted The Japan Times to recognize her as a "Musical Ambassador of the Americas." You can find much more about her at http://www.pollyferman.net.

She is also director of New York-based Pan American Musical Art Research (PAMAR), which was established in 1984 to present a broader Pan American overview of music and dance. More about PAMAR at http://www.pamar.org/home/default.asp. Ms. Ferman and PAMAR are working with more than two dozen major venues and organizations in New York City, including The Americas Society, Christies, Steinway & Sons, World Music Institute, Symphony Space, El Museo del Barrio, several Latin American national consulates, galleries, art museums and many others, to present the first annual Latin American Cultural Week this November. More about the planning for this at http://www.pamar.org/lacwnyc/default.asp.

The Binelli-Ferman Duo continues to develop and further the appreciation of tango, milonga, candombe, and other Latin American musical forms in a rarely heard bandoneon/piano partnership. Their performances reflect the elegance and the subtlety of the Tango, the sauciness of the Milonga, the romance of the Waltz and the temperament and power of the contemporary Tango.
