The Chamber Orchestra of New York, Salvatore Di Vittorio, Music Director has announced details of its debut concert on Thursday, October 11, 2007 7:30 PM at Zankel Hall at Carnegie Hall, 881 Seventh Avenue at 57th Street in Manhattan. This will be the first concert by this group, which is the first professional orchestra in the history of New York City to be entirely devoted to young professionals and performances in all five boroughs. The program will be Bernstein's Overture to Candide, Respighi's The Birds, Vivaldi's Winter from The Four Seasons and Beethoven's Symphony No. 5. Soloist in the Vivaldi will be concertmaster Kelly Hall-Tompkins. A champagne reception will immediately follow the concert.
